Huntsman Cup Rules

Each player selects 5 college football and basketball teams and receives points based on each team’s performance during the year. Teams are selected through a draft. The draft order is decided by the results of the previous year in that particular sport, with last place picking first and first place picking last. The order of the draft in each round is reversed so that whoever got the first pick in the previous round gets the last pick in the current round. This continues until every player has five teams on their roster. A draft for football and basketball is completed before the start of the regular season for each sport. Each player designates one football and basketball team as a franchise team. A franchise team is retained on the roster for the next year. The other four teams on the roster are released and are free agents for the next draft. The player with the most points at the end of the basketball season is the winner. The following point system will be used. This system requires the winner to have quality teams throughout their roster.
